Our Story

Mah·ren - of the sea. We live at the gateway to the Jurassic Coast in Devon, our lives are lived by and in the sea and we wanted our name to reflect that. Maren comes from the latin of the sea, and we chose Wild to highlight the woods and heathland that also run adjacent to where we live.

 

Poured by hand, in small batches using traditional methods, sustainable materials and a blend of perfume grade fragrance and essential oils, our candles and diffusers capture the mood of the shifting seasons in a range of curated scents for your home.

 

We use a premium 100% natural soy, coconut and rapeseed wax blend for our candles. Rapeseed and coconut is a relatively new wax and although we love its clean, even burn, most importantly - it’s vegan friendly, cruelty free and sourced sustainably and ethically.

 

We're delighted to have partnered with Ecologi an organisation dedicated to tackling the climate crisis. ​​​​​​​​Now, every one of your orders plants a tree, which offsets an estimated 0.3t of CO2 over a 25 year growth life. As well as that, we'll also be making a contribution to Ecologi's UK Reforestation Projects every month 🌱
